MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all persons who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who agree to support the purposes of the club and the Code of Ethics.

The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Louisville was organized in 1977 by a group of 14 proud Scottie owners who shared an excitement and enthusiasm for the breed and wanted to share information, swap Scottie stories and pursue common concerns. The club is operated under the authority of the American Kennel Club and the Scottish Terrier Club of America. Elected officers guide the activities and policies as provided in the Club's Constitution, By-Laws and Code of Ethics.

Our Logo
Our logo represents Derby City, the nickname for Louisville, Kentucky and its connection to the Kentucky Derby. The horseshoe represents the famous Kentucky thoroughbreds. The roses are the mark of the Kentucky Derby champion. The twin spires, used by permission, represent Churchill Downs, the home of the Derby. The Scottie in the logo's center repesents our belief that our Scotties will always be the champions of our hearts.
